After taking out the top packing piece, lift the loudspeaker/s from the carton. Do NOT lift a loudspeaker out using the
protectivebag.Afterunpackingremovealltheprotectivebagsfromtheloudspeakers and store or dispose of them safely.
The CR-30.4and CR-30.5areheavy.If you are unsure of your ability to unpack and manoeuvre them safely, get someone to
helpyou.
Check all items after unpacking. If any item is missing or damaged, immediately contact your Wharfedale dealer.Retain
thepackaging.Ifyou dispose of thepacking,followallrecycling regulations inyourarea.
UNPACKING
Readtheseinstructions. Keepthese instructions.Heed allwarnings. Follow allinstructions.
Beforemaking anyconnections,switch allthe unitsinyour systemoff atthe mains.
Setthe volumecontrolat minimumwhen youswitch on yoursystem orchange sources, andturn thelevel up gradually.
DO NOT use your amplifier at full volume.
Ensurethat allloudspeakersinthe systemare correctly wired.
DONOTsubject your loudspeakerstoexcessive cold,heat,humidity orsunlight.
Loudspeakersshouldnot be placeddirectly facingother hi-fi units,or sharethe same shelfor cabinet.
DONOTplace heavy objectson topof loudspeakers.
Some manufacturers forbid the placing of objects on top of their TV sets. Check your TV handbook before installing the speaker
directlyon yourTVset. Consultyour TVdealerif youare inanydoubt.
DONOTconnect speakerterminals tothe mainssupply.
DONOTdismantle the loudspeaker.There arenouser serviceableparts insideitand youwill voidthe warranty.
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, the
apparatushas beenexposedto rainor moisture,doesnot operatenormally,or hasbeen dropped.
